Features
The ratio controller is a required component of a bladder
type or pump type foam system. Being
a modified venturi device, it creates a low pressure cell forming a vacuum when
water flows through it. The foam concentrate is mixed into the water
stream at a pre-determined percentage by virtue of a orifice plate.
The mixture of foam concentrate and water produces the foam solution used to
extinguish the fire.
