Features
Used in remote areas where no power source is available. Completely self-contained with components consisting of a pressure vessel, nitrogen cylinder and hose reel. To operate, a pre-mixed solution of foam and water is stored in the tank. By opening the nitrogen cylinder, a regulated volume of nitrogen enters the tank, thus pressurizing it. Once a valve leading to the continuous hose reel is open, the hose line is also pressurized. The nozzle is then opened and the fire extinguished. This unit may not be refilled during operation so careful consideration must be given to capacity sizing for the potential hazard.
